Pastoralizm — kənd təsərrüfatı heyvanları kimi tanınan əhliləşdirilmiş heyvanların tarixən sürüləri ilə bərabər hərəkət edən köçəri insanlar tərəfindən otarmaq üçün geniş açıq ərazilərə (otlaqlara) buraxıldığı heyvandarlıq formasıdır. Burada iştirak edən növlərə iribuynuzlu mal-qara, dəvələr, keçilər, yaklar, lamalar, şimal maralları, atlar və qoyunlar daxildir.
Afrika, Tibet yaylası, Avrasiya çölləri, And dağları, Pataqoniya, Pampalar, Avstraliya və bir çox başqa yerlərdə pastoralizm bir həyat tərzi olmağa davam edir. 2019-cu ilə olan məlumata əsasən, dünyada 200-500 milyon arasında insan pastoralizmlə məşğul olur və bütün ölkələrin 75%-nin pastoral icmaları mövcuddur.
