Naan (farsca نان‎, hindce नान, urduca نان‎, kürdce nan, çin dilinde ise 馕) — buğdadan hazırlanmış çörəkdir. Təndir çörəyinə də həmçinin naan deyilir. Mərkəzi Asiya, Cənubi Asiya, Cənub-Şərqi Asiya və Karib hövzəsi ölkələrin mətbəxlərinə aiddir.

Hindistanla yanaşı Əfqanıstan, İran, Nepal, Pakistan, Tacikistan, Özbekistan və digər Orta Asiya ölkələrində məşhur yeməkdir. Türk dilində (misal üçün qazax, qırğız, özbək, uyqur və s.) çörək “nan” adlanır.

Esas erişteni buğda unundan hazırlanmış xemşr teşkilr edir. Ancaq zövqdən asılı olaraq lobya, tərəvəz, pendir və ya kartofda əlavə edilir.

Naan sup, çay və ya müxtəlif sulu yeməklə yeyilir.

Etimologiyası

Naan sözü ingilis dilinə 1810-cu ilde Villiyam Tokko gətirib. Fars dilində “nan” çörək deməkdir. İllər ərzində Orta və Mərkəzi Asiyada nan sözü müxtəlif mənalar bildirmiş və sonda düz yeni lavaş çörək naan adlandırılmışdır. 1978-cu ildə ilk dəfə naan öz mənasını tapmış və ingilis dilinə daxil olmuşdur.
