Vəhşi ov

Vəhşi ov — german-skandinav mifologiyasında sürü halında olan bir qrup xəyali atlı ovçu. Bu ovçular elflər, pərilər və ya ruhlar ola bilərlər.[1] Ovun rəhbəri adətən Odin ilə bağlı adlı bir fiqur olur, ancaq bəzi hallarda Böyük Teodrix, Danimarka kralı IV Valdemar Atterdaq, Uels mifik tanrısı Qvin ap Nudd kimi tarixi və ya əfsanəvi şəxsiyyətlər, eləcə də İrod Antipa, Kabil, Cəbrayıl və Şeytan kimi Bibliyada olan varlıqlar da ola bilər.

Vəhşi ov müharibə və vəba kimi faciələrin əlaməti hesab edilirdi. Ova şahid olan insanlar oğurlanaraq cəhənnəmə və ya pəri diyarına aparılırdı.[5] Bəzi yerlərdə insanların ruhlarının kavalkada qoşulmaq üçün yatdıqları yerdə götürüləcəyinə inanılırdı.

Dəlil və terminologiya

Alman folkloru əsasında aparılan müqayisəli yanaşmaya əsaslanaraq, hadisəyə adətən "Wilde Jagd" (azərb. Vəhşi ov/təqib‎) və ya "Wildes Heer" (azərb. Vəhşi ordu‎) deyilir. Hadisənin "Vəhşi ordu" və ya "Qəzəbli ordu" adlandırıldığı Almaniyada onun liderinə müxtəlif kimliklər verilmişdi. Bunlara Vodan, Krampus, Perxta və Çovğun xanım (alm. Frau Holle‎) aiddir. Vəhşi ov orta əsrlərdən sonrakı folklorda da öz əksini tapır.

Bu hadisə İngiltərədə "Herlaþing" (azərb. Herlanın yığıncağı‎), "Woden's Hunt" (azərb. Vodenin ovu‎), "Herod's Hunt (azərb. Herodun ovu‎) və ya "Cain's Hunt" (azərb. Cəbrayılın ovu‎), Kornuallda "The Devil's Dandy Dogs" (azərb. Şeytanın məlaikə itləri‎), Şimali İngiltərədə "Gabriel's Hounds" (azərb. Cəbrayılın köpəkləri‎), Şimali Amerikada isə "Ghost Riders" (azərb. Ruh süvariləri‎) adlandırılırdı. Uelsdə buna oxşar bir hadisəyə "Cŵn Annwn" (azərb. Annunun köpəkləri‎) deyərdilər.

Vəhşi ov Skandinaviyada "Oskoreia" (azərb. Qışqırtılı süvarilər‎), "Asgårdsreia" (azərb. Asqard gəzintisi‎), "Odens jakt" (azərb. Odinin ovu‎) və ya "Vilda jakten" (azərb. Vəhşi ov‎) olaraq tanınırdı.

Hadisə Fransanın şimalında "Mesnée d'Hellequin" (azərb. Arlekin ailəsi‎), Kanadada "Chasse-galerie" kimi bilinirdi. Hadisə Qərbi slavyan Mərkəzi Avropasında "Divoký hon", "Dziki Gon", "Dziki Łów", "Divja Jaga" (azərb. Vəhşi ov‎) və ya "Štvaní" (azərb. Qısqı‎) adlandırılırdı.

Eyni folk mifinin başqa variasiyaları İtaliyada "Caccia Morta" (azərb. Ölü ovu‎), "Caccia infernale" (azərb. Dözülməz ov‎) və "Caccia selvaggia" (azərb. Vəhşi ov‎), Qalisiyada "Estantiga" (azərb. Qədim ordu‎), Leonda isə "Hueste de Ánimas" (azərb. Ruh qoşunları‎) adlandırılırdı.

Populyar mədəniyyətdə

Peter Nikolay Arbonun 1872-ci ildə çəkdiyi "Åsgårdsreien" əsəri Vəhşi ovun Skandinaviya versiyasını təsvir edir. Burada Odin ovun rəhbəridir.

Vəhşi ov "Marvel Comics" brendinə aid olan Tor seriyasında da görünür. Burada onun rəhbəri Lənətlənmiş Malekitdir.
