İraq Səlcuq sultanlığı

İraq Səlcuqlu dövləti (1157-1194) – Sultan Səncərin ölümündən sonra İraq Ərəb və İraq Əcəm (Qərbi İraq) idarə edən Böyük Səlcuqluların qalığıdır.

Tarixi

Səlcuq Dövlətinin süqutundan sonra bugünkü İraqın hamısı və Suriyanın bəzi hissəsi üzərində qurulmuş olan Türk dövlətinin adıdır. Böyük Səlcuq Sultanı Məhəmməd Təpər 18 Aprel 1118-ci ildə ölüncə, oğulları taxt üzərində mübarizəyə başladılar və sonradan əmiləri Səncərin tabeliyinə girdilər. Səncər də Təpərın uşaqlarını İraq və Azərbaycana məlik olaraq təyin etdi. 1157-ci ildə Səncərin ölümü ilə Böyük Səlcuq Dövlətinin tarixə qarışmasıyla tamamilə müstəqil oldular və Şah adını daşımağa başladılar.
