Güclü sosiologiya (ing. strong programme) — elmin sosioloji tədqiqinə dair 1970–1980-ci illərdə yaranmış yanaşma forması. Bu nəzəri yanaşma ilk dəfə nümayəndələri tərəfindən irəli sürülmüş və elmi biliklərin həm doğru, həm də yanlış formalarının bərabər şəkildə sosial-mədəni kontekstlərdə araşdırılmasının vacibliyini vurğulamışdır.
Bu yanaşma elmin təkcə texniki və obyektiv proses olmadığını, onun sosial, mədəni və siyasi amillərlə sıx bağlı olduğunu göstərmişdir. Elmi biliklərin formalaşmasında maraqların, institutların və güc münasibətlərinin rolu araşdırılmışdır. Güclü sosiologiya, daha sonra formalaşan elmin fəlsəfəsi, və elmi biliyin sosiologiyası kimi sahələrə təsir göstərmişdir.
Tarixi
Güclü sosiologiya anlayışı 1970-ci illərdə Şotlandiyanın Edinburq Universitetində çalışan tərəfindən formalaşdırılmışdır. Bu yanaşma elmi bilikləri yalnız obyektiv və rasionallaşdırılmış həqiqətlər kimi deyil, eyni zamanda sosial konstruksiyalar kimi təhlil etməyə çağırırdı. Güclü proqram adlanan bu yanaşma, ənənəvi "zəif sosiologiya"dan fərqli olaraq, yalnız səhv elmi inancları deyil, eyni zamanda doğru qəbul edilən elmi bilikləri də sosial izahla analiz edir.
Devid Blur güclü sosiologiyanın dörd əsas prinsipini müəyyənləşdirmişdir:
- Nəticəlilik – elmi biliklərin yaranmasının və yayılmasının səbəbləri aydın şəkildə izah edilməlidir.
- Tərəfsizlik – düzgün və yanlış elmi inanclar eyni dərəcədə izah edilməlidir.
- Simmetriya – eyni səbəblər həm doğru, həm də yanlış biliklərin formalaşmasında tətbiq olunmalıdır.
- Refleksivlik – bu prinsiplər sosioloqun öz elmi fəaliyyətinə də tətbiq olunmalıdır.
XXI əsrdə güclü sosiologiyanın bəzi prinsipləri elmin tənqidi tədqiqatlarında istifadə olunmağa davam edir. Xüsusilə texnoloji və tibbi biliklərin yaranma proseslərinin sosial analizində bu yanaşma aktual olaraq qalır.
