Əsas elmi nəticələri
Mürəkkəb tərkibli xalkogenid AIIIBVI və TlBIIIC2VI yarımkeçiricilərdə relaksasiya electron proseslərinin nəzəri və təcrübi əsaslarını işləyib hazırlamış və xüsusi xassələrə malik olan interkalyasiya olunmuş laylı və zəncirvari strukturaları dünyada ilk dəfə alıb və tədqiq etmişdir. Xarici amillərin (sabit və dəyişən elektrik sahəsi, elektromaqnit şüalanması, temperatur, təzyiq, rentgen şüalanması və s.) alınmış yarımkeçirici nazik təbəqə və kristallarına təsirinin fiziki qanunauyğunluqları tədqiq edilmiş və bu əsasda yeni tipli yarımkeçirici çevricilər və cihazlar ixtira edilmişdir.

Təltif və mükaftaları
1. 1994 –cü ildə çap olunmuş elmi əsərlərin dəyərinə görə Beynəlxalq Elmi Soros Mükafatını almışdır.
2. 2017-ci ildə İxtiraçılıq sahəsində nailiyyətlərə görə Azərbaycan Respublikasının Standartlaşma, Metrologiya və patent üzrə Dövlət Komitəsi tərəfindən diplomla təltif olunmuşdur.
3. Onun elmi fəaliyyətini əks etdirən bioqrafik məlumatlar Kembricdə dərc olunan “XX əsrin görkəmli adamları” kitabına daxil edilmişdir.
