Hayle Selassi (Amharca ቀዳማዊ ኃይለ ሥላሴ, Üçləmənin gücü), əsl adı Tafari Makonnen (ተፈሪ መኮነን), (d. 23 iyul 1892 - ö. 27 avqust 1975) — Efiopiyanın son imperatoru (1930-1974).
Yamaykada H.I.M. (His Imperial Majesty) olaraq tanınır. Ləqəbi Nequse Neqest (Krallar kralı) idi və özünü Süleymanın 225-ci xələfi olaraq tanıdırdı. Ölkəsinin modernləşməsinə öndərlik edərək II Dünya müharibəsi sonrası Afrika siyasi həyatında əhəmiyyətli bir mövqe əldə etməsini təmin etmiş və Əddis-Əbəbəyı Afrika Birliyi Təşkilatının (OAU) əsas mərkəzi vəziyyətinə gətirmişdir. 1974-cü ildə SSRİ-nin dəstəyi baş verən hərbi çevrilişlə taxtdan salınmışdır.

Tafari Makonnen adıyla şərqdəki bir əyalət olan Harerdə oranın qubernatorunun oğlu olaraq dünyaya gəlib. Xristian-Pravoslav aristokratiyanın ayaqlanmasıyla ölən əski kral II Menelikin və orta qüvvələrin dəstəkçisi olaraq tanınan dəstəkçisi V İyasu Liul Liy, 2 noyabr1930-cu ildə aşaraq I. Hayle Selassi adıyla iqtidara gəlmişdir.
Yamaykada ortaya çıxan Pan-Afrikali fikirli Rastafari inancında bir peyğəmbər olaraq qəbul edilir.
