Desdemona (ing.Desdemona) Uranın daxili peyklərindən biridir. O, Voyecer 2-nin 1986 13 yanvar tarixindəki uçuşu nəticəsində əldə edilən şəkillər vasitəsilə kəşf edilmiş və qısa müddətliyinə S/1986 U 6 adı verilmişdi. Desdemona adı isə Uilyam ŞekspirinOtello tamaşasındakı Otello obrazının həyat yoldaşından götürülmüşdür. Digər bir adı X Urandır.
Desdemonanın Voyacer 2 tərəfindən çəkilən şəkli
Desdemona Bianka, Kressida, Cülyetta, Portia, Rozalind, Kupid, Belinda və Perditanın da daxil olduğu peyklərin Portia qrupuna aid olunur. Bu peyklərin bir birlərinə bənzəyən orbitləri və fotometrik xüsusiyyətləri var. Desdemona haqqında orbiti, 32 km-lik radiusu və 0.08-lik geometrik albedosu xaricində, demək olar ki, əhəmiyyətli heç nə bilinmir.
Voyacer 2-dəki şəkillərdə Desdemona uzunsov və əsas oxu Urana tərəf yönələn cisim kimi görünür. Səthi bozumtul rəngdədir.
Qarşıdakı 100 milyon il içərisində Desdemonanın ona yaxın yerləşən Kressida və Cülyetta peykləri ilə toqquşması gözlənilir.
