Cənubi Asiya ölkələrinin siyahısı — Region Himalay dağlarından cənubda və Hind okeanındakı adalarda yerləşən ölkələrdən ibarətdir. Əfqanıstan, Banqladeş, Butan, Maldiv, Nepal, Hindistan, Pakistan və Şri-Lankanın mövcud əraziləri Cənubi Asiyanı təşkil edir. Cənubi Asiya Regional Əməkdaşlıq Təşkilatı 1985-ci ildə yaradılan və Cənubi Asiyadan olan bütün 8 ölkəni əhatə edən iqtisadi əməkdaşlıq təşkilatıdır.

Cənubi Asiya 5.1 milyon km2 (1.9 milyon m3) ərazini əhatə edir. Bu isə Asiya qitəsinin 11.51 faizi, dünya torpaq sahəsinin isə 3.4 faizi deməkdir. Cənubi Asiyanın əhalisi təxminən 1,749 milyard yəni dünya əhalisinin təxminən dörddə biri deməkdir. Cənubi Asiya həmçinin dünyanın ən sıx əhalisi olan və ən sıx məskunlaşılan coğrafi bölgədir. Ümumiyyətlə, bu region Asiya əhalisinin təxminən 39.49 faizini (dünyanın əhalisinin 24 faizdən çoxunu) təşkil edir və geniş əhali qrupuna malikdir.

Bölgədə 600 milyon müsəlman, 35 milyon xristian və 25 milyon buddist yaşayır.
