Həyatı

Villi Brandt (əsl adı: Herbert Ernst Karl Fram) 18 dekabr 1913-cü ildə Lübekdə anadan olmuşdur.

1930-cu ildə, hələ məktəbdə oxuyarkən Almaniya Sosial-Demokrat Partiyasının (ASDP) Gənclər təşkilatına üzv olmuşdur. 1931-ci ildə yeni yaranmış ifrat sol Sosialist Fəhlə Partiyasına keçmişdir. Hitler diktaturası bərqərar olduqdan sonra (1933-cü il, yanvar) sonra Villi Brandt təxəllüsü ilə gizli iş aparmış, aprel ayında isə Norveçə qaçmışdır. 1940-cı ilin aprelində Norveç Almaniya tərəfindən işğal olunduqdan sonra hərbi əsir düşərgəsinə düşmüşdür. 1940-cı ildə gizli şəkildə İsveçə keçmişdir. Stokholmda "İsveç-Norveç mətbuat bürosu"nu təsis etmişdir. 1945-ci ildə Almaniya təslim olduqdan sonra Skandinaviya qəzetlərinin müxbiri qismində Berlinə gəlmişdir.

1948-ci ilin əvvəllərində Almaniya Sosial-Demokrat Partiyasının (ASDP) idarə heyətinin üzvü seçilmiş, 1948–1949-cü illərdə Qərbi Berlində onun nümayəndəsi olmuşdur. 1949–1957-ci illərdə Qərbi Berlin bundestaqı və senatının deputatı seçilmişdir. 1950-ci illərin əvvəllərində Almaniya Sosial-Demokrat Partiyasının lideri K.Şumaxerin antikommunist kursunu dəstəkləyərək partiyanın sağ cinahına keçmişdir. 1957–1966-cı illərdə Qərbi Berlinin burqomistri olmuşdur. 1958–1963-cü illərdə Berlin böhranı zamanı SSRİnın və Almaniya Demokratik Respublikasının siyasətini kəskin tənqid etmişdir. 1964-cü ilin fevralında Almaniya Sosial-Demokrat Partiyasının sədri seçilmişdir. 1969–1974-cü illərdə AFR kansleri olmuşdur.
