Xəzər kütburun xulu — Proterorhinus cinsinə daxil olan balıq növü. Xəzər dənizinin hövzəsinə aid şirin sularda yayılmışdır. Volqa çayının delta hissəsində adi növ sayılır. Volqanın orta və yuxarı axarlarına qədər hərəkət edərək Moskva çayında və Don çayının orta axarlarında müşahidə edilir. Bu növ 56 ° şimal enliyini keçən Pont-Xəzər faunasının yeganə nümayəndəsidir.
