Se poi lo ripete nesuoi Dia-loghi , il fece perchè lo richiedeva largomento di eflì,avendovi inrraprcso a descrivere turti i lavori che dipittura aveva fatto in quel palazzo . Vero è che quan-tunque egli se ne fosse un poco invanito , sarebbe com-patibile ; perchè veramente in quello che appartieneallarchitettura ha mostrato uneccellenza maraviglio-sa e un ingegno soprumano , e nella pittura una men-te ampia , copiosa e fecondissima , inarrivabile e attaalle più vaste imprese , e una velocità e assiduità al la-voro che arreca stupore a chi si sia. E se si guarderan-no le pitture del soffitto della gran sala e grandi emolte e piene di figure, si vedranno non solamentebene storiate e disposte e inventate con gran mae-stria, ma colorite con tal forza e vaghezza, che piut-tosto che del Vasari , si reputeTanno lavori demiglio-ri mae&cri Veneziani.
